Heatmaps in DotNetHighcharts

Oct 5, 2015 at 4:54 PM
I've recently extended a branch of this project to include code and examples for the Heatmap. Is this something I should submit to the original developer for inclusion? Is anyone else interested in this extension?

hi,
You can use heatmaps with only JS, not using through DotNet.Highcharts. I think it more dynamic and easier.
You define "series" in Controller and pass it to View by Json data or other ways.

Hi,

I'm very interested in this extension. Can you give me a link where I can download it?

Thanks!

I've placed my modifications to include generation of Heatmaps in my own github.

You can view in the samples page @ /HoTos/MapDataToHeatMap

Hi bangocdam,
I'd found the original developer had put in some placeholders to allow addition of heatmaps (eg. ChartTypes.Heatmap enum), but had to further extend to use a PlotOptionsHeatmap. The challenge was to fit the data as an array of arrays representing x,y coordinates with a value. See my HowTos/ sample for a demonstration.
